My grandson is running for an office at his junior high school. The school put a $15 limit on whatever they wanted to do to promote themselves. My grandson was so proud of himself, as he had 16 cents left over from his campaign.
Wouldn't it be something if our politicians had a limit and actually campaigned within that limit? It would make elections much more fair rather than those with all the money being able to flood the media with their promises.
Oh, well, maybe we have to wait for the younger generation to put some honesty back in campaigning.
