Real Salt Lake fell apart in the second half and lost 4-0 to Minnesota United on Sunday at a fanless Allianz Field in St. Paul, Minn.
The game stood scoreless at halftime, but the Loons picked RSL apart on four counterattacks and beat Salt Lake keeper Zac MacMath, who has now conceded seven goals in the 2020 season.
RSL changed its formation for the game against Minnesota and also used 10 different starters compared with the draw against the Seattle Sounders on Wednesday night.
Sunday’s loss was the first time in the last three road games that RSL didn’t come away with a point.
